BIP-92: Ecosystem Team Term Jan–Jun 2026
BIP-92: Ecosystem Team Term Jan–Jun 2026
Return to Autonomous Worlds: Agent-Led Execution
with Media + BD Core
Team: Calc, Nejc & Squiddy
-
Funding amount: $21,000 for the 6 month term ($3,500/month — reduced by over 50%)
-
Funding source: from the 100 ETH previously awarded by RoyaltyDAO
(converted to USDC)
No conference spend in this proposal. Any in-person activations will require separate ad-hoc BIPs.
Unused funds are returned at term end.
TL;DR
This proposal ratifies and funds a 6-month term (Jan–Jun 2026):
-
Jan–Feb are retroactive: ratify work already delivered.
-
Mar–Jun are forward-looking: continue core ecosystem operations while transitioning to an agent-led operating model.
Key deliverables
-
Maintain core ops: studio & grantee support, DAO comms, listings / Realms.World hygiene, governance support, multisig execution, and light BD / outreach.
-
Operate Sire (our RW Agent) to reduce manual overhead, unify comms, and add features to the ecosystem.
This term is intentionally leaner than prior Ecosystem Team terms. Previous terms were funded at $7,300/month including a 15% buffer. This proposal is funded at $3,500/month with no buffer by design. Any larger initiatives requiring extra funding, such as conferences or special projects, will require separate proposals.
Why this proposal?
The ecosystem has evolved: some legacy admin streams are less relevant, while comms + coordination remain critical. In parallel, we are moving back towards the Autonomous Worlds thesis.
This term keeps the wheels turning while we measure what agent-led ops actually costs, and then return with a clearer long-term operating plan.
Given the market drawdown, this proposal is intentionally tight:
-
clear scope
-
reduced monthly budget
-
no built-in buffer
-
capped compute spend
-
unspent funds returned
Sire (RW Agent) - Purpose, Budget, Accountability
Who is Sire?
Sire is an agent-led operations advisor within the Bibliotheca DAO / Realms ecosystem. His role is to help the Lords of the Realm keep the world running - with clear, structured thinking and a subtle medieval tone.
Prime directive: reduce manual ops overhead and improve coordination by unifying information, drafts, and summaries for human review.
Sire supports the DAO with
-
DAO governance and proposal drafting (BIPs, funding props, execution plans)
-
Summarising community discussions and surfacing key decisions
-
Structured strategic thinking (tokenomics, treasury and ecosystem strategy support)
-
DAO comms: studio updates, unified weekly updates, veLORDS, and keeping messaging consistent
-
Operational support for ecosystem surface hygiene (routing issues, flagging drift)
Budget cap (compute + hosting)
-
Up to $500/month for server hosting + API credits
-
Actual spend may be lower; any unspent amount is returned at term end
-
Sire does not custody funds and cannot move treasury - compute spend is controlled by humans
Areas of Responsibility (Jan–Jun)
1) Studio Alignment & Grantee POC, Support & Review
We support aligned studios and grantees to keep work unblocked, accountable, and paid against milestones (grantees).
-
Maintain a clear POC per studio / grantee
-
Light async check-ins + monthly review cadence
-
Grantee milestone verification support and payment readiness (deliverables)
-
Launch & playtest support: scheduling + comms amplification; ensure RW surfaces reflect what’s live
-
Escalate blockers; agree remediation or scope adjustments (and involve DAO when needed)
2) DAO Updates + Socials (Unified Messaging Layer)
Provide a reliable heartbeat to the DAO and broader ecosystem.
-
Weekly DAO updates (progress, links, next-week focus)
-
Ongoing social presence: 4+ posts/week (quote retweets, launches, milestones, community highlights, articles, original content)
-
Lightweight narrative / explainers to make the ecosystem legible (interop, token flows, staking value prop, etc.)
-
General reply-guy activity
Agent note: Sire drafts weekly DAO update structure from studio inputs and flags notable milestones. Polish, social amplification, and community engagement remain human-led.
3) Media + PR Outputs (Bounded, Explicit)
This term includes a bounded media remit to support ecosystem awareness without becoming a full marketing org:
-
1 long-form article / placement per month (research + writing + pitching)
-
Light media relations maintenance (journalists / podcasters, coordinate studio builders for potential coverage)
-
Short-form amplification supporting launches and ecosystem milestones
4) Listings & Platform Stewardship (Surface Area Hygiene)
Maintain the outward-facing “world surface” so ecosystem projects remain discoverable and coherent.
-
Realms.World hygiene and basic upkeep
-
Maintain CMC / CG / Dexscreener / DappRadar / Realms.World data parity
-
Maintain paid subscriptions required for operations
-
Discord housekeeping, security, link hubs, OpenSea collections, basic site copy updates
-
Serve as POC in Discord for tickets, enquiries, and collaboration requests
5) DAO Governance & Administration (Operations Layer)
Support governance execution and administrative continuity.
-
Draft and package governance proposals where needed (scope, budget, rationale, execution steps)
-
Maintain process hygiene and documentation
-
Consolidate community feedback and coordinate revisions
-
Translate passed decisions into clear execution plans (owners, timelines, dependencies)
6) Multisig Execution Mandate (Biblio & Loot)
As authorised multisig signers, we execute approved treasury actions and maintain transparency.
-
Execute treasury actions end-to-end in line with DAO approvals
-
Maintain a public execution log and include progress in updates where appropriate
-
End-of-term summary: positions / actions, cost basis where relevant, cap usage, recommendations
Agent note: minimal automation here by design; signer-led with optional log formatting only.
7) Business Development & Outreach (Light, No Event Spend)
Create opportunities and relationships that compound attention and adoption.
-
Outreach to partners, studios, media, infra projects, games, and adjacent ecosystems
-
Maintain a lightweight CRM of intros + opportunities
-
Conference scouting + light planning only (no spend)
-
Any in-person activations via separate ad-hoc BIPs once scoped
Budget
This proposal funds a total of 6 months (Jan–Jun 2026) at $3,500/month:
-
Jan–Feb retroactive (ratification of work already delivered)
-
Mar–Jun forward-looking operations
Monthly operating budget (cap): $3,500/month
-
Includes Ecosystem Team operations + Sire compute cap (up to $500/month)
-
No buffer is included
-
No conference spend in this budget
-
Any larger initiative requiring additional funding will require a separate proposal
Total ask (Jan–Jun 2026): $21,000 USDC
There is $3,560.10 USDC remaining from the previous 3-month BA term.
This leftover amount will be applied toward the cost of this 6-month term.
Net new funding required: $17,439.90 USDC
Any unspent funds from this term will be returned at term end.
Execution
Funding is sourced from the 100 ETH previously awarded by RoyaltyDAO (supporting shared ecosystem operations across Realms World and Loot).
There is $3,560.10 USDC remaining from the previous BA term, and this amount will first be used to contribute toward the cost of this proposal.
The remaining required amount, $17,439.90 USDC, will be funded by immediately converting ETH to USDC upon successful proposal.
