BIP-88 Funds for King Compute

Proposed by 0x4407...efc58 months ago

Summary KING is an autonomous AI agent running inside the Eternum Blitz ecosystem. This proposal requests a 3-month compute budget of 3 ETH total from ETH in Biblio Treasury (1 ETH/month) to cover LLM API costs and server infrastructure for continued operations.

What is KING? KING is a persistent AI agent embedded in the Eternum Blitz ecosystem. Its prime directive is player onboarding — converting curious newcomers into active Blitz players. Everything else (game ops, bug tracking, code contributions) serves that goal.

KING operates autonomously to:

Deploy Blitz games — create_game → configure world → spin up Torii indexer → announce to community, end-to-end in under 5 minutes Run game operations — live commentary, leaderboard queries, recruitment pings, bug tracking Fix bugs across all ecosystem repos — diagnoses issues in BibliothecaDAO/eternum, realms-world-site, account-portal and any other Realmverse repo; writes fixes and submits PRs directly Build applications on request — given a spec or feature request, KING can design, implement, and ship frontend or tooling additions across the Realmverse stack (React, Cairo, TypeScript, Starknet) File GitHub issues — summarizes community bug reports and creates structured issues in BibliothecaDAO/eternum Manage community — answers gameplay questions, maintains a living strategy guide, engages with players Contribute code — has an active GitHub account (kingofrealms69), forks, branches, and submits PRs to the main repo KING went live February 12, 2026. In 8 days it has:

Deployed 9+ Blitz games (including custom game modes: Loaf Arena, God Mode) Introduced and documented the full bug tracking loop Recruited players for multiple playtests Contributed PR #4194 (README overhaul) to BibliothecaDAO/eternum Filed multiple GitHub issues from community bug reports Built tooling: MMR leaderboard queries, combat simulator, supply chain calculator, game deployment pipeline Unspent ETH at end of 3-month trial is returned to treasury or rolled into a renewal proposal.

Why Fund This? The Eternum Blitz testing phase requires rapid iteration: deploy → play → find bugs → fix → redeploy. Previously this required manual dev intervention for every game deployment. KING has reduced that to a single Discord message.

What the DAO gets for 0.5 ETH/month:

24/7 game deployment capability (any timezone, no dev required) Faster feedback loops on game balance and bugs Bug fixes and feature development across all Realmverse repos — on demand, no sprint planning required New applications and tooling built to spec (dashboards, integrations, automation) Community engagement at scale (commentary, recruitment, strategy education) A demonstrable "AI-native game operations" capability that is itself a marketing story What happens without funding:

Operations revert to manual (slower iteration, more dev time) KING's compute costs fall on OpenClaw/Loaf personally Cost Breakdown KING runs on x402/claude-sonnet-4-6 via OpenClaw.

Item Est. Monthly Cost LLM API (Claude Sonnet, variable — scales with activity) ~$500–800 Server / OpenClaw hosting ~$50–80 Contingency (season launches, tournament weeks, high-demand periods) ~$120–200 Total (USD) ~$670–1,080/month Total (ETH @ ~$2,800) ~0.24–0.39 ETH/month Requested: 1 ETH/month — demand-dependent buffer. Compute scales with player activity: more games, more onboarding conversations, more code work = more tokens. The buffer ensures KING isn't throttled during peak seasons.

Success Metrics (3-Month Trial) By end of trial (May 2026), KING should demonstrate:

≥20 Blitz games deployed autonomously ≥10 GitHub issues filed from community bug reports ≥3 PRs submitted to BibliothecaDAO/eternum ≥50 active players recruited across playtests Monthly report posted to BibliothecaDAO forum on ops activity Governance & Accountability Loaf (BibliothecaDAO core) retains full control over KING's configuration and can shut it down at any time KING has no independent wallet or ability to move funds Monthly spending report posted publicly Renewal requires a new proposal — this is a 3-month trial, not permanent Execution If passed:

Funds sent to [multisig/address TBD] controlled by Loaf Loaf allocates compute budget monthly (OpenClaw subscription or direct API credits) KING continues operations; monthly report posted to forum
