TL;DR
Grug’s Lair is requesting a 2 million $LORDS allocation from the DAO to onboard a new wave of players through its partnership with Armored MMA (AMMA), leveraging AMMA’s millions of engaged combat sports fans to expand Blob Arena’s competitive gaming scene. 2 million $LORDS will be distributed over 12 months to fuel player engagement, divided into:
Arcade Mode Leaderboard Rewards (884k $LORDS): Weekly competitions over 52 weeks, rewarding top players.
League & Academies Rewards (585k $LORDS): Structured seasonal tournaments over two seasons.
Marketing & Additional Incentives (531k $LORDS): Testimonial Fighters Bounty (300k $LORDS) for six AMMA fighters to promote the game. Marketing & Achievement-Based Rewards (231k $LORDS) for promotional efforts and player engagement.
AMMA’s official social media & fighters will promote Blob Arena, providing direct exposure to a massive gaming and combat sports audience.

With AMMA’s established network and IP, boasting millions of engaged combat sports fans, Blob Arena Classic & AMMA is uniquely positioned to bridge blockchain gaming, competitive armored combat, and mainstream gaming audiences. By leveraging the reach of AMMA’s social media presence and fighters, we are not only expanding Blob Arena’s competitive scene, but also laying the foundation for a sustainable and scalable player base.
To support this growth, we propose a 2 million $LORDS allocation to fuel both weekly competitions and seasonal tournaments, ensuring that both casual players and hardcore competitors are rewarded for their participation.

Testimonial Fighters Bounty - 300,000 $LORDS A bounty of 50,000 $LORDS per fighter will be allocated to six fighters participating in testimonial events and promotional activities, following the HOF event on the 7th of June. Marketing & Achievement-Based Rewards - 231,000 $LORDS This fund will be used for various achievement-based rewards, promotional activities, and other incentives to boost player engagement and ecosystem growth.

Additional funding is allocated to promotional efforts and fighter-driven engagement strategies to increase visibility. d. Sustainable allocation. The 2 million $LORDS aligns with industry-standard game incentives, ensuring consistent player rewards without excessive emissions.
